ABOUT THE STUDIO

Located in the picturesque Hudson Valley area of upstate New York, we specialize in full-service interior design, renovations and furnishings for residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality spaces.

Our specialty is pairing modern sensibility with a historically sympathetic understanding, incorporating color, pattern and texture for layered and livable spaces. By striking the perfect tension between the familiar and the wondrous we seamlessly blend antiques and modern heirlooms that cannot be replicated. 

MEET MEGAN

An old house and design lover by birth and an East Coast resident by choice, Megan is inspired by historic architecture.

With a background in painting, she blends a modern sensibility with a historically sympathetic approach to decorating and renovations. Megan studied at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI, and Columbia University in NYC. While living in Brooklyn, she worked at Martha Stewart and One Kings Lane before opening her firm in 2016.

Today, as the Founder and Principal Designer of Megan Pflug Designs, Megan focuses on full-service interior design, decorating, and furnishing projects, and historic home renovations all lending a sense of history to new-build construction.

Megan lives in a historic town in Upstate NY on the Hudson River with her husband and their two tabby cats and rescue pup, Phil. She and her husband own and operate a 1960s motor lodge turned wedding and event venue called The Woodhouse Lodge
